Facilities

The Harvard University Studio for Electroacoustic Composition (HUSEAC) is located in the Harvard Music Building. Our four studios provide classrooms, composition workspaces, and intimate recording spaces. Studio 32 was updated in 2014 to include multichannel analog I/O into John Knowles Paine Hall. Each Mac-based workstation has four, eight, or sixteen channel spatialization capability. Studio 33 adds 7.1 Surround Sound, HD & UHD/4K video editing. Our vintage Serge and Buchla analog modular synthesizers, as well as a variety of classic outboard signal processors, are located in the Ivan Tcherepnin Room. HUSEAC Studio 22 is dedicated to the studio's late Director.
