HARVARD UNIVERSITY STUDIO FOR ELECTROACOUSTIC COMPOSITION and The Harvard University Department of Music present two nights of HYDRA on December 15th and 16th. Each evening two programs will be presented to the public with a short intermission in between. This semester our concerts showcase works composed by students of Music 167: Introduction to Electroacoustic Music, guest composer Mesias Maiguascha, Annette Vande Gorne, and Hans Tutschku.

Concerts start promptly at 8:00 PM with the second program starting at 9:30 PM. There is limited availability in the most desired listening positions and seating is first come, first served. Our concerts will take place at Harvard University Department of Music in John Knowles Paine Concert Hall. The Music Dept. is in close proximity to Harvard MBTA Bus and Red Line stops, behind the Science Center Plaza. Our address is 3 Oxford Street Cambridge, MA 02138.

The Harvard University Studio for Electroacoustic Composition (HUSEAC) is home to HYDRA Loudspeaker Diffusion System, a forty channel performance system designed for the presentation of electronic works and tape musics. All HYDRA concerts are free and open to the public. We invite you to share a moment in our studio's sonic history.
