Torres studied Visual Media Arts in Boston. He recieved a BFA in Sound Design & Audio Post-Production from Emerson College in 2009. Between 2006 and 2009 he worked with hundreds of nationally touring artists as a live mix & studio engineer for the Wellfleet Beachcomber, WERS Live Mix Dept. 88.9 FM, and the South Shore Music Circus.

In 2010 Torres trained at Apple, Inc. in Cupertino, CA to become a Certified Macintosh Technician. As the in-house recording engineer at Emmanuel Church he has recorded Emmanuel Music's cantata cycle over ten years. Torres works as a freelance recording engineer & audio tech. in the Boston area.

Joining the Harvard Music Dept. as Technical Director of HUSEAC in 2012 Torres now maintains and upgrades all recording and IT systems, facilities, and studio operations. Torres produces all video content for the HUSEAC Vimeo Archive and manages the studio's userbase, events, communications, and website.
